A chance for Amsterdam

Amsterdam has long been a favourite city break for UK holidaymakers. After a short flight, you’ll arrive in a place with a laid-back atmosphere, bags of culture and attractive canals.

Your mystery holiday to Amsterdam could be even more enjoyable when it is revealed to you as your surprise destination. The capital of the Netherlands has so much going for it in 2026, from the world-renowned Tulip Festival in the spring to the massive celebrations of WorldPride hosted by the city this summer.

Read more about our Mystery Holidays below, or carry on exploring with our short Amsterdam city guide.

What to expect from a mystery holiday to Amsterdam

Making your way through Amsterdam’s waterways on a gentle canal cruise is a great way to see the city. It’s also famous for its fantastic cycle network, so getting in the saddle is a quick and easy way to navigate the streets and stop off at many attractions, including art galleries and museums.

After all that cycling, you’ll no doubt have worked up an appetite. Amsterdam serves up a superb selection of street food, including pickled herring, stroopwafels and patatje oorlog – crispy fries topped with all kinds of condiments of your choosing. Leidseplein is a great place to wash it all down with local beers and to party into the small hours.

Good to know before you go to Amsterdam

Rather than staying within the city centre during your Amsterdam mystery holiday, hop aboard the free ferry to Noord. You’ll find many of the city’s trendiest bars and restaurants in this super cool neighbourhood.

FAQs

Whad’ya wanna know?

Here are a few answers we prepared earlier, along with a link to even more if you’ve got plenty of time on your hands.

bolt How are the different tiers allocated?
>

We use a weighted random allocation model to ensure every customer has a fair chance. While the vast majority of our adventures are curated as Bronze Tier 2-night breaks, a small number of lucky explorers are randomly upgraded to Silver or Gold durations. These allocations are completely random, applied equally to everyone, and are never influenced by your chosen airport or when you book.

bolt How are you different from voucher-style deals?
>

We’ve removed the “middleman” and the faff. Our smart-matching algorithm puts you in the driver’s seat from the first click.

  • No Hoops, No Surprises: In the “voucher world,” a £99 headline price rarely stays £99. You usually run into admin fees and “seasonal supplements” hidden in the small print. With us, what you see is what you pay. Your price is locked in at checkout with no hidden costs creeping in later.
  • No Vouchers & No Waiting: Voucher sites make you wait for a third-party agent to call. With us, you pick your dates, see your price, and boom—you’re booked. It’s instant confirmation with no codes to redeem and no pushy follow-up calls.
  • You Choose Your Specific Airport: Other deals use vague groups like “London, Midlands, or Scotland.” We let you select your exact airport (like Gatwick, Bristol, or Edinburgh) and travel date right at the start. What you pick is what you get.
